As you land on the 20-30 feet of snow on Herbert Glacier, you will hear the 40-50 huskies barking their greeting, as they are as anxious to get moving as you are. You will have some time to chat with the mushers and can command your own dog sled.
Juneau has a healthy humpback whale population with some 65 whales returning each season to feed in the nutrient-rich waters. Shopping is a must in all the Ports in Alaska from Diamonds to Alaskan clothes!

Skagway

The White Pass Railway, which was completed in 1900, has a narrow gauge track that takes visitors into the White Pass.
